New features 2023:
Sales territories can be divided into weekday areas. This allows you to plan your customer visits even more efficiently.
Branch customer visits are assigned to a network center – across regional boundaries. See at a glance how many visits should be planned in the network.
Sales territory planning takes place automatically in a new layer with a new area structure and is stored in the log file, so you can track your work steps at any time.
Drive-time zones are optimally calculated through area limitations. This way you can see
exactly how far the employee can drive and achieve maximum accessibility in the area.
Calculate your drive-time zone in RegioGraph TeamConnect and select additional filter criteria. This gives you an overview of relevant information.
Choose your preferred catchment area from various geographic components
such as drive-time zone, distance, viewing window or free polygon.
New features 2022:
Create your own menu ribbon with relevant functions, or use predefined menu ribbons for the use cases map creation, sales territory planning or location evaluation. This allows you to work according to an ideal workflow and achieve results faster!
Put strategies into practice more easily. Use the portfolio matrix to identify where you have opportunities for growth. Then use the results in the table to provide your sales force with concrete information.
As of 2022, you can save your preferred settings for future selections. This saves valuable time!
For areas and regions, centroids can be created as point layers, which allows distance calculations between area centers.
As of 2022, the add-on will allow you to measure distances between customer points or locations to estimate your next route. Using a circle, rectangle, or polygon will help you select customer points or locations within a perimeter, or area, faster on a map.
We've implemented countless other improvements. Some examples include:
New features 2021:
Starting in 2021, you’ll be able to plan the workload of your sales force and customer support directly using RegioGraph. Thanks to the new calculation wizard you will obtain a practical value for how many visits per year and employee are possible. Compare this with the desired visits of your ABC customers and create a realistic basis for your sales territory planning and the goal alignment for each team member.
RegioGraph 2021 calculates a an index or a score according to your criteria and weighting. This is how you can find regions that have high purchasing power and at the same time customers who have already purchased product A. Or you evaluate your locations according to factors such as sales area and target group in the area. The higher the score, the better the performance.
RegioGraph offers a wide range of display options to help you analyze your data in the best possible way. Different value distributions can make it difficult to find the right settings. A histogram has therefore been integrated into the display set up to visually show the frequency distribution of your data, making it easier to divide it into meaningful categories.
If you work on regional level, you can cut all layers of a project to the selected area, such as a state or your individual sales territory. So you can work only with map sections or regions that you need.
Two or more points with the same address or coordinates, which lie on top of each other in the map, can be moved automatically around a common center point and become single.
If you make a sales planning on the basis of customer points, changes can be displayed with a mouse click in the before and after comparison. There is also a transfer to the table.
Communicate with your team via the new notifications function to exchange information directly online, referring to a map section. For example, you can point out current figures or new customers. In addition, the search, filter and sort functions have been added to the overall table.
New features 2020:
View up to four charts simultaneously and compare additional data columns for more control and oversight when planning.
Show changes to your territories at the click of a button both during and after planning. Affected areas are shaded on the map and displayed in the associated table. This quickly reveals the impact of your changes, allowing you to select the best planning scenario.
The add-on's features has been expanded compared to the previous year's version. Legends and labels from RegioGraph projects are imported exactly as they are into the add-on and can be shown or hidden at any time. Many additional analyses can now be visualized, such as delivery flows and drive-time zones. A complete table with filter functionality is also available for each layer.
Beginning with the 2020 version of the software, a map of Europe's two-digit postcodes is included with RegioGraph. This allows you to plan and analyze your data throughout Europe.
Data tables can be easily imported from the Clipboard in a text-based format. This ensures that all data is comprehensively imported. You can then specify the desired formatting settings for your data columns.
This new feature saves you time when preparing your maps. After finalizing the contents of your various maps, you can then specify the formatting for one of the maps. Next, select the option "Transfer layer format" in order to transfer the formatting settings from one layer to another. This ensures your results are presented with a consistent layout.
Beginning with the 2020 version of RegioGraph, you can adjust data in your tables more quickly and with fewer errors. A new filter function allows you to work in a table excerpt rather than in the original table. This means you can apply your changes exclusively to the data area that you select. You can then easily see the alterations you made after returning to the original table.
New features 2019:
Share project results online with your colleagues using your company server. Grant access rights to whomever you choose. Your team can then view your data analyses and sales maps from various device types while on the go. This keeps everyone on the same page, leading to faster, more informed decision-marking.
Keep all important information in sight when optimizing your territories. The simultaneous display of a zoomable map and a filterable table with a chart helps you navigate each optimization step. Use the chart to select the data columns you want to compare. The map then automatically adjusts to display this. Evaluate optimization scenarios using the sorting and filtering options available in the new planning view.
Selectively lock parts of your territory structure to prevent unwanted changes when carrying out optimizations. For example, use this feature to optimize just the sales territories surrounding your company location or a specific region when adding a new team member. This gives you more control over the planning process.
New features 2018:
Get up and going with the software more quickly. A new user interface conveniently groups all tools in the menu ribbon based on task type. RegioGraph 2018 now more closely resembles the MS Office environment thanks to color adjustments.
Benefit from expanded features and usabilty when in table design view, including a new zoom option. You can now link layer tables via column values in addition to geographic location. This allows you to assign data on external key-account locations to the region of your choice.
Key-account customers not located in sales territories can now be displayed on their own maps. Assign these customers to regions by linking columns in the layout generator.
Illuminate the most important traits in your data. When displaying map objects according a certain attribute, you can limit the number of objects shown by a specific minimum and maximum frequency. All objects falling outside of the specified bounds will then be grouped as “other”. You can also apply a filter that dynamically adjusts the displayed traits.
Create and display driving zone sizes based on the properties of individual locations. Using the location layer column, you can specify that one or more driving zones be calculated for any chosen location.
It’s much easier to work with granular data in the 2018 version of RegioGraph Strategy. GfK also offers micro-level business data for many additional European countries.
New features 2017:
RegioGraph Planning & Strategy now allow you to integrate Microsoft Bing maps and aerial imagery into the software and combine them with your own map content.
RegioGraph Strategy employs an algorithm to position any specified number of sites such that market coverage is optimal. Use this feature to add more locations to an existing branch network or develop an entirely new network.
This new visualization option brings clarity to maps with a large number of locations. A cluster tree is automatically used to display large numbers of locations in close geographic proximity. The cluster tree automatically changes based on zoom level in order to ensure an optimal presentation of the locations in question.
You can now more easily edit and work with the table drafts associated with many of the software's editing and linking tools. You can also quickly link data across layers (e.g., locations per region) using a drag & drop feature. Formulas, column characteristics, metadata and layer statistics are easy to view and adjust.
RegioGraph Planning and later versions allow you to place grids (e.g., 100 x 100 meter cells) on the map in order to work more efficiently with levels more detailed than postcodes (but less detailed than individual addresses). This is extremely helpful when analyzing local areas. Many official bureaus of statistics in Europe now offer socio-demographic data at this grid level, which allows you to easily import this information into RegioGraph's grid layers.
We've improved and modernized RegioGraph's interface. The software's various tools are grouped according to task in a Windows ribbon. The software's new project navigation allows you to individually customize the various work elements, including maps, charts, legends, layout tables, etc. This lets you control your workspace even when dealing with complex documents.
We added a new quick filter feature to the software’s powerful data selection tools. At the click of a mouse, you can filter the visible objects on the map using the specified filter criteria. These filter criteria operate dynamically to changes in the base data, such as when processing updates.
RegioGraph 2017 includes a completely new chart feature. This tool gives you numerous new options, such as displaying multiple data rows in a chart, using a secondary Y-axis, labeling individual segments and automatically grouping minor values to an “other” segment.
We've implement countless other improvements. Some examples include...
easier location and placement of individual addresses
adjustable detail level for background maps
individually sortable document tables
global transparency setting for color gradients
adjustable settings for default format
overhauled print menu
and much more…
